This past Friday night was the bonfires of San Juan here on our beachfront in Denia, Spain. It celebrates the Summer Solstice and the Saint of John the Baptist by enjoying the evening with friends and family, good food and drink, on the beach. Click the link in bio to learn more about it and the traditions that take place at midnight! And for brunch the morning after the bonfires of San Juan... homemade pancakes with fresh fig and apple spiced chutney and banana. Made with honey, coconut oil and cinnamon. 😋
Visit our site for the latest story about the bonfires of San Juan last night! Happy Summer Solstice everyone! Make sure to be outside and enjoy the sun today...and every day! Sending love from Spain 🇪🇸 ❤️ Only one thing can add to this gorgeous view from our home...and we ate it up! 😋Happy Monday everyone! Happy World Tapas Day! This was our homemade tapas spread last night. We had friends over and enjoyed a delicious array of creative tapas that Eric concocted. Aren't Tapas a fantastic way to eat? With small bites you get to taste more variety, share with friends, and take your time savoring 😋! What tapas are you going to enjoy today? Time for another Tapas Route in Denia! And what a great way to celebrate World Tapas Day on June 15th. Starting today, June 14th, through Friday June 16th, you can get a beer or wine + tapa for €3 at participating restaurants in Denia. We just learned about this today, but hey - better last minute than never. If you're in Denia during these days let us know. Maybe we'll see you out and about savoring the tastes of our little paradise on the Med.
